Exam week

I sat for my English paper in the morning. 1 down 3 more papers left to go. Then its holiday for me (june 3rd).

All 400 MUFY students were here, Sunway college multi purpose hall(MPH). The name says it all. Besides exams, it is also used for Orientations, concerts(planet shakers concert was held there), badminton, any events or gatherings.

Spent 1 hour sorting my "papers"(notes,exercises and mostly rubbish) out during the weekends. All my notes and exercises was mixed up due to not filing and stapling them together. I just threw most of them in my bag.

What a waste of time. So remember, get organized. Especially if you don't want some of your paper to be like this.

Luckily it was not important though. Goes to the trash.

Wanted to go enjoy at skyonline@rockcafe but saw this when we got there.
Subang Jaya cc's got raided by MPSJ. e.g: Rockcafe, FTZ. They will be closed for a while. I have no idea until when.
Im not so sure about the reason. But i think its because of them opening too late.
Oh well. My exams are coming anyway.

But hey. When i went to college I saw this.
All you need to do is just crash as many cars as you can.
Not only is it free to play. We get to win a Gigabyte motherboard if we get the highest score.
Todays high score was 909 cars. Hope i can beat it tomorrow. My highest car crushing streak was only 296 cars.
Lucky I can't drive, or i will be practicing crashing into cars on the road ;)

College life(Part II)

Poster for my physics presentation on "The Physics of roller coasters".
I messed up my presentation. Ended up talking crap. Yikes.

Calculator going crazy after I sat for my Advanced Mathematics Test 4; I doubt I can pass. I only completed 3 out of 6 of the questions.

Exams are just weeks away and i seriously need to improve my advanced mathematics. MUFY calculates your final score by adding up all subjects. I need 280 to get into engineering next year.
So I need 70% for each of my four subjects. Based on my test results, I am in some shit.

Note: My final exam should be harder than my test.
2nd note: around 40% of my final score is from my tests and assignments

So i guess its study time.

Last week I was sleeping at home. (cause I was sick) when I received a call from my old school, SMK USJ 12.
They invited me to Hari Anugerah Cemerlang 2007 on Saturday. I immediately agreed to go because I miss my school so much. And I can meet some of my friends there too.

Tent that was set up for all the guests. It was kinda hot in there.

PIKOM PC Fair

Went to PIKOM pc fair yesterday.
In KL it was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

The PC fair was huge. There was more than 500 booths. Selling all kinds of things
From laptops to speakers to PDA's to stationary.
There were so many people that walking was almost impossible. Humans everywhere. I had to swim through most of the time.

I didn't bought much. I only got a 4 GB Sean Kingston and a Razer mouse pad.
The Razer booth was very hard to find. Only managed to find it after swimming for 10 kilometers.
My legs are aching now.

College Life

I have been in Sunway University College for 4 months.
Things have been going quite well. I am still alive
My course MUFY is quite easy. Its around SPM level. Except for the advance mathematics subject. The teacher is just too fast. She thinks that we are naturally born maths genius. I am sure I am not one of them. I spend most of my time in class just sitting there and staring at her.

Advanced maths test 1. 50%. barely pass

Advance maths test 2. Scored 50%. also barely passed.
I just sat for test 3 a few days ago. Hope that the results will be better than the first 2.

Calculator going crazy. Gave it too much advanced mathematics to calculate >.<
Physics experiment on colliding balls.

Sunway University College has many facilities

Cafeteria. 1901 hot dog and baoz are also there
Library. Tons of books, internet access DVD for lending. Free if your a Sunway student
Computer center for you to surf the internet. Can't play games though T.T
Lift. Which are very slow. And often full. Especially when everyone needs to get to class at the same time
Air conditioning in all classrooms
A student center with a pool table, 2 fusball table, a ping pong table and board games available for rent.
Wifi
Hostel for staying. Its quite expensive. RM 400 per person, and you don't get a room. you will be sharing a room with many other roommates

The cafeteria

Student centre. Inside is where the pool tables and fusball table is located.

Sunway hostel. The outside seems alright but my friends living inside says the rooms are horrible.
No television is allowed. All you have is a toilet, a bed, a table and super slow internet connection.
You aren't even allowed to cook maggi mee.

Actually all of that doesn't matter.
I don' t use any of them at all. Except for the air Conditioning. Which sometimes is turned on too high, causing everyone to turn blue.

Thats because near Sunway College there is this place. About 20 meters from Sunway College.
Everyday I will eat at Medan. The food there is quite reasonably priced. A place of mixed rice with generous portions of servings cost RM 3.50.

And upstairs is Rockcafe. Its called the place of tremendous possibilities. The Place of knowledge(especially in the art of war and terrorism), fun and excitement in one single place. A place of "GODLIKE" and "OWNAGE".
Its called SkyOnline-Rockcafe.
This is all we need. ^^

22 inch- Certainly helps when looking at yummy pictures or videos. Or shooting someone

Price is RM 2 per hour.
However they are packages to choose from.
-RM 3 for 2 hours = RM 1.50 per hour
-RM 5 for 4 hours = RM1.25 per hour
-Rm 10 for 10 hours = RM 1.00 per hour

Apparently its still under construction. Computers and decorations are still being added. The grand opening will be soon.

Besides that. Sunway Pyramid is only a 10 minutes walk away. Lots more things to enjoy there, and burn a hole in your pocket.

My 2.5 cents

Went to MCD to get my Cornetto MC flurry, Yummy

The price is RM4.50 + 5% government tax
4.50X105%=4.725
So its 4 ringgit and 72.5 cents
But I got charged 4.75
Where did my 2.5 cents go.
I found this
For items that ends with 1,2,6 or 7 cents, we get a discount.
For items that ends with 2.5, 3, 8 and 9 we get charged more.

Damn it. 0.1 cents too much and i got charged 2.5 cents more T.T

But I don't like the rounding system.
With this, We wont get to see our 1 cent coins any longer T.T

Rock Climbing

Went to 1 Utama last Friday.
Wanted to go there for rock climbing. But ended up just watching a movie there. Watched Jumper.
A nice show, but the story wasn't that nice. I want that jumping ability(teleporting). Its just so cool.
All our petrol and time was wasted driving all the way there just to see a movie.

Mega muscle machine. The name of some juice. Supposed to give you more energy.
Didn't really taste that nice. Tasted like bananas + strawberry + vanilla.

We tried to get into Camp 5(the name of the rock climbing place). But only my friend Howard could get in. I and Jason was below 18. So we need a parent, guardian, any siblings above 18, or any friend above 21 to sign for us. We got none. Actually Howard can call his friend to sign for me since she has the same surname as me. But shes only 18 so she cant sign for Jason.
So we went back to summit..

MUFY ( Monash University Foundation Year)

I've started my classes a few weeks ago.
Im taking physics, maths, add maths and English (compulsory).
I also have some LAN (Lembaga Akredatasi Negara) subjects. (Malaysian Studies and Moral)
The physics and maths I'm learning now is a repeat of what I've learned in secondary school. For the first few chapters I mean. So form 4's and 5's don't throw away everything you've learned after SPM(Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia)

Malaysian studies class.
The biggest class of all.
About 200 students
Normally they will be playing PSP, talking, sleeping, using their phones or sleeping instead of hearing teacher.
Or, some just skip it and ask their friends to take their attendance, or just walk out of the class halfway.
I don't understand why the goverment forces us to do useless things.
LAN subjects are just a waste of time.
Id rather sleep at home than sleep in class.
Maybe ill get a PSP ^^.

But, if i fail the test now, i would have to take Malaysian studies again in university. If i pass, I don't need to study history Forever!!

Sunway College

Today is the last day of my 4 day orientation at Sunway College.

I find the orientation boring and time wasting.
Only a few of the activities were interesting and useful.

The first day was full of boring talks.
On the 2nd day, We were briefed about all the subjects in MUFY. After that we sat for an English placement test and a maths placement test. Both useless..
The third day, we choose our subjects and choose which classes to take. (will upload the timtable tomorow) And we registered for something called I-zone. Some account so that we could use Sunway College's Computer network.
On the 4th and last day, We attended a 4 hours seminar caled "On your marks, Get Set, Go!"
Alot of group activities, but diddnt make much new friends.

The bridge me and my friends built in one of the activities.
It was pretty difficult.
a team of 10 is divided in to two.
This two groups of each team are required to build one side of the bridge.
Then after building, they are required to join the two bridge together.
The materials given are some straws, paper, strings, cellophane tape
Sounds easy? No!
Communications between the two teams are prohibited during construction.
We only get to send one of each member from each side to discuss about the plans.
Only 4 discussion time, 1 minute each.

The blue side of the bridge is my groups works, the yellow side of the bridge is the other groups work.
It was only during the last discussion that we realise that our bridge was higher than theirs. by that time it was too late to change.. Making our bridge one side higher than the other.
Anyway, we were one of the 3 best bridges . XD

Wider = more cars being able to pass = less jam= ours is better. Although they got the height right.

Im going to college. Taking MUFY ( Monash University Foundation Year) at Sunway College
No more school for me ( Wont get my hair cut by my discipline teachers anymore, no more wearing school uniforms, no more heavy bag, no more crappy food)

3. Then i need a hdtv to. So that i can play FF XIII with its full detail. And also can see the hot leng lui clearer. ( dont know much about FF XII, all i know, its hot!!) Something like this. 29 inch would be just nice for my room.

4. A new computer. My current ones about 3 years old. Kinda slow.

5. A magic lamp with a genie that can grant me all the wishes i want!!!

Comic Fiesta 2007

There was a comic fiesta at times square on the 15th and 16th.

Its RM 10 to go in for one day. there is also a 2 day pass, but I'm not sure how much is it.
We have to wear this wristband to go in.( we can go out and come in again anytime we want)
Mine is only for 1 day.

Event booklet, they gave it to me after i paid the RM 10 admission fee.

There are doujinshi(I dont know what it means), cosplays, stores selling all kinda things(posters, key chains, draw on the spot artists, figures, mangas, almost everything an otaku would want), there supposed to be performances but i went there at the wrong time.

Merchandise are expensive and I am saving money. So i only got a poster, a bookmark, a T shirt, and me and wj shared money to buy a present for someone XD. Hope she wears it.

Cosplays. I dont know which anime they are from.

Got nothing to do this holidays, though of giving it a play.
Had to wipe all the dust off all that. Its been a long long time since i last used it.
I think its around 12 years old.
Thats antique!!

Tried CTR(crash team racing), one of my favorite game last time.
BUT after loading the screen with the sony and PS logo,
this happened

Black screen, black screen
After 5 minutes, still black screen
Restarted and the same thing happened again, and again, and again.
Useless old thing.
Even the new PS2 controller can't do anything about it.

Then my brother, told me to put the Playstation upside down?

HAha. It worked, It worked!!
The game cant load when its upright but it does load when its upside down.

Finaly, school has ended.
11 years of school( 10 for me)
standard 1- form 5
the first part of my education is over!

But I cant seem to remember my standard 4, thats y its 10 years for me

I think its because of him, the hsien, he made me forget my standard 4
T.T

Okok, so im different, cause ive got no standard 4.
Im sure most of you already know.

Its not hard to catch up from what ive forgotten in Standard 4.
Studies aren't a problem at all. (maybe it caused me an A, but its just an A)
But there are other things, most of my friends I know are older than me, socially I was slow, and I was shorter then everyone during primary school. It was like in a different world. Had to find new friends, was childish..

Slowly i managed to catch up, putting age behind, finding new friends, finally caught up in height abit.

Was it worth it?
Hell yeah,
found lots of nice friends,
SPM finished earlier for me,

But i miss school though..
But there college to make up for that rite?
I hope so.
and i always wonder what I would become if I had stayed back.

Its time to party!
No more sejarah, moral, and BM for me.
Yeah, I really felt moral was a useless subject, but i work hard on it just for something called an "A"
I wonder whether its worth it.
Ill probably blog about this next time, few years from now.

After SPM, Its been relaxing,
1st day was really happy. But after sometime, its starting to get boring, sitting in front of my computer most of the time, I really dont know where all my friends went.
They just dissapearead T.T

Is there anything in life thats free??(in terms of money).
All the Free things u get when buying something they arent free. Its called PROMOTION.
such as the harry potter shirt i got from popular, which i am not going to wear, and its Buy 1 get another 1, and its also called BONUS airtime

As a matter of fact, I do get free things. I get free things from my PARENTS all the time. Food, Shelter, electricity, clothes, internet connection. Parents are god!! Free things.
That includes one more thing.

Actually theyre not hard to make.
Mix the ingredients and put it in the oven. Finish!

Everyones getting sick and i think me too. Just got a slight flu...Just hope I wont get worse
Getting hotter and hotter every year.
A friend of mine told me that air con just makes it worse...The hotter it is the more air con we will use...The more air con we use..The more heat will be released to the environment.
But without air con, well just burn to death on this Country...Malaysia is so HOT( not only the weather, some of the people here too :D)

There are other things we could do. Pollute less? Walk more?
Are you crazy..the weather is too hot, that we'll just die.

So guys, lets just hope Our HOT country doesn't become Hotter(i mean the weather :D)

Tomorrow is my chemistry exams..er I mean later..

I just cant sleep..Feeling hungry. Hungry until i cant sleep.
Yea i went to get something to eat and the only thing i found was bread. BROWN bread.
Ill guess i have to eat it cause im dam dam hungry.
I haven't eaten white bread for months..unless you count the buns they serve you at the restaurants as appitizers.
White bread taste much better than brown bread..i dont know why my parents like brown bread so much...i feel that brown bread is terrible.
I can even eat white bread on its own and it still tastes better than brown bread with jam.
White bread is also cheaper.

so sad..
I want white bread..

Anyways i think i need to get some sleep. Tomorrow i have Chemistry and EST(English in Science and Technology).

Shaking leh. So shocked to see wat i just saw just now.
If it wernt for our quick reactions. We might have been fresh meat by now.

Story of my day
My bicycle was totaly messed up. I estimated that it would cause RM 100 to repair...

Heres wat happen to my bicycle
I and Nick...Phun was going dwn USJ 12 hill...You know you can go really fast there.
Then we flew across a ramp...I did it hunndreds of time and it wasnt suppose to be damaging to my bike. After landing the gear got stuck in the rim.And gear in rim = piece of shit
After that go home....sleep

Will blog later...still abit shaky..About the bike its nothing...will update later

In the eveening Wj and Jason came to my hse. hehe go repai bicycle.
