Hari Anugerah Cemerlang(SPM 2007)

Last week I was sleeping at home. (cause I was sick) when I received a call from my old school, SMK USJ 12.
They invited me to Hari Anugerah Cemerlang 2007 on Saturday. I immediately agreed to go because I miss my school so much. And I can meet some of my friends there too.

Tent that was set up for all the guests. It was kinda hot in there.

PIKOM PC Fair

Went to PIKOM pc fair yesterday.
In KL it was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.


The PC fair was huge. There was more than 500 booths. Selling all kinds of things
From laptops to speakers to PDA's to stationary.
There were so many people that walking was almost impossible. Humans everywhere. I had to swim through most of the time.

I didn't bought much. I only got a 4 GB Sean Kingston and a Razer mouse pad.
The Razer booth was very hard to find. Only managed to find it after swimming for 10 kilometers.
My legs are aching now.

College Life

I have been in Sunway University College for 4 months.
Things have been going quite well. I am still alive
My course MUFY is quite easy. Its around SPM level. Except for the advance mathematics subject. The teacher is just too fast. She thinks that we are naturally born maths genius. I am sure I am not one of them. I spend most of my time in class just sitting there and staring at her.


Advanced maths test 1. 50%. barely pass


Advance maths test 2. Scored 50%. also barely passed.
I just sat for test 3 a few days ago. Hope that the results will be better than the first 2.


Calculator going crazy. Gave it too much advanced mathematics to calculate >.<
Physics experiment on colliding balls.


Sunway University College has many facilities

• Cafeteria. 1901 hot dog and baoz are also there
• Library. Tons of books, internet access DVD for lending. Free if your a Sunway student
• Computer center for you to surf the internet. Can't play games though T.T
  
• Lift. Which are very slow. And often full. Especially when everyone needs to get to class at the same time
• Air conditioning in all classrooms
• A student center with a pool table, 2 fusball table, a ping pong table and board games available for rent.
• Wifi
• Hostel for staying. Its quite expensive. RM 400 per person, and you don't get a room. you will be sharing a room with many other roommates

Sunway hostel. The outside seems alright but my friends living inside says the rooms are horrible.
No television is allowed. All you have is a toilet, a bed, a table and super slow internet connection.
You aren't even allowed to cook maggi mee.
Price is RM 2 per hour.
However they are packages to choose from.
-RM 3 for 2 hours = RM 1.50 per hour
-RM 5 for 4 hours = RM1.25 per hour
-Rm 10 for 10 hours = RM 1.00 per hour

Nicholas has many crushes.
His 1st crush is on the toyota sprinter tureno AE86. his 2nd crush is on the Honda Civic type-R. His 3rd crush is on the Nissan GT-R R35. His latest one is the BMW M3
Too bad he can't marry them now. He haven't got his license

Nicholas is currently tyring to improve his rock climbing skills. he is still a beginner(newb)
There are many different levels of difficulty. Difficulties 5B to 6A is beginners level, 6B and 6C is intermediate level and 7A to 7B is pro
Nicholas can only climb up to 6A. Almost reaching 6B. A bit more to go...

My 2.5 cents

Went to MCD to get my Cornetto MC flurry, Yummy

The price is RM4.50 + 5% government tax
4.50X105%=4.725
So its 4 ringgit and 72.5 cents
But I got charged 4.75
Where did my 2.5 cents go.
I found this
For items that ends with 1,2,6 or 7 cents, we get a discount.
For items that ends with 2.5, 3, 8 and 9 we get charged more.

Damn it. 0.1 cents too much and i got charged 2.5 cents more T.T

But I don't like the rounding system.
With this, We wont get to see our 1 cent coins any longer T.T

So the next time you buy something, make sure it adds up ending with 1,2,6 or 7 cents
